Alvin And The Chipmunks Movie
Parents need to know that while this movie is mostly OK for little kids, there's some innuendo and sassy language that children might mimic. Alvin in particular says mildly off-putting remarks like "You're hot" to Dave's date or "She wanted you" to Dave. They also tell Dave his music "sucks." There's also a fair amount of slapstick/cartoonish violence. Female backup singers and partygoers wear tight, revealing clothes. But overall, it's a mild kids' movie -- albeit one that's mired in product placement and overcommercialism.
Alvin and the Chipmunks Movie
Three chipmunks -- voiced by Justin Long (Alvin), Matthew Gray Gubler (Simon), and Jesse McCartney (Theodore) -- are kicked out of their pine tree home when it's chopped down and shipped to a record label's headquarters as a Christmas tree. They end up sneaking a ride with Dave (Jason Lee), a down-and-out song composer who's none too happy to discover he has new rodent pals. Eventually, of course, the trio starts singing and inspires Dave to write a Christmas song that wows an oily label exec (David Cross). The rest is chipmunk history.
The best part of the story is that kids will see the danger of living like a "rock star" all the time. Too many toys and not enough discipline -- not to mention way too much caffeine and too many late-night concert gigs -- make Alvin, Simon, and Theodore crave Dave's loving discipline. If only real children were as reasonable as fictional chipmunks...
Later that night, Claire is invited to Dave's house for dinner and the Chipmunks are forced to stay in another room. However, Alvin, thinking Dave needs his help to win Claire over, unintentionally sabotages the date. Dave tries to tell a frustrated Claire the reason for his strange behavior, but instead, he further alienates her by saying his "life was being sabotaged by talking chipmunks". In her anger, Claire storms out, stating that Dave never changed at all as Dave becomes heartbroken. The Chipmunks feel guilty for Alvin's unintentional sabotage. In order to make it up to Dave, they quickly leave to Ian's house that night to show him that Dave was right about their amazing talent.
This is one of my favorite movie houses. I love it! I swear I am going to pack my camera and hunt down that apartment complex one day soon. Thanks Julia!.-= Janets last blog ..Easy Weekend Project =-.
This is funny as we just watched this movie two nights ago for the first time. I was just home decor surfing and ended up here from another blog not even looking for this stuff. I loved that house too but want to know more about the photographs on the walls in the house! Who is the photographer, etc.!! What a cool site you have here.
Thank you so much for this website. I went out and googled for the houses in Alvin and the Chipmunks movie and I found this website. This is wonderful. I have seen the first Alvin and the Chipmunks and the Squeakwul. I could not get these cottages out of my head the first time around and was pleased to find them in the second. I would LOVE to have a house like this. The built-ins and the window in the bedroom really caught my attention. Wish I could live someplace this unique. I LOVE your website.
While Mexico has been eclipsed by Brazil as the biggest moviegoing market in Latin America, it remains a vibrant and key territory. And if there's a premier 3D family market anywhere, it's Mexico, where Fox's "Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked" has earned north of $6 million.
But the lawsuit would also cover such issues as whether Fox breached an agreement over promotional tie-ins to the Chipmunk characters, whether a $3 million producer payment was an advance on royalties or separate from royalties, and whether Fox got enough when it licensed Chipmunks movies to HBO and FX.
Alvin and the Chipmunks is a 2007 family comedy movie using Live-action/CGI. The movie stars Jason Lee, David Cross, Cameron Richardson and Jane Lynch and the voices of Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler and Jesse McCartney.
Dave Seville, a desperate song producer, meets three talking, singing chipmunks named Alvin (the awesomest one), Simon (the smart one), and Theodore (the cute one). Dave says that they can live with him if they sing his songs, but he later thinks that he made a terrible mistake when they ruin his house, his friendship with Claire Wilson (his girlfriend and next-door neighbor), and his job. Dave gets along with them better when they became very popular singers. Later on Dave's old friend and roommate, Ian Hawke trys to take the chipmunks away for fame and money. Eventually, Dave gets the chipmunks back, and he learns to consider them as his family. Also he and Claire get back together.

He is also one of our primary movie reviewers.
They're cute, they're cuddly, and, for most people, Alvin and the Chipmunks are a part of media royalty. What started in 1958 as a novelty album grew into one of the classic cartoon singing groups of all-time. In addition to their music, which some may find a bit irritating, Alvin and the Chipmunks have also made their presence felt in television and movies, with eight feature films produced featuring the adoring rodents.
The film came out around the time where a mix of animation and live-action was flooding the movie theaters, for better and for worse, and, while the film may seem a bit dated today, many reviewers still found that the original live-action film is at least enjoyable, unlike its sequels.
It was neck-and-neck for which original Chipmunk movie would be the highest-rated, with the trio's first foray into the feature film world coming in second. The Chipmunk Adventure was released in 1987 and closely mirrors the television animated series that launched the Chipmunks into this medium.
With many adult reviewers praising the film, it's a trip down nostalgia lane and makes anybody want to relive their childhood again. The film is dated, for sure, but, for most reviewers, it was still a far more enjoyable watch than the live-action versions that graced movie theaters in the mid-2000s.

This time, instead of three, we have six chipmunks, like Simon, Theodore, and Alvin are joined by the Chipettes, Brittany, Eleanor, and Jeanette. The sped-up vocals destroy whatever uniqueness the actresses bring to their roles.
The chipmunks also have abandonment concerns, fearful that if Dave marries, he will lose his affection for them. They discover an unusual friend in Miles, who has no desire for a new father. The four go on an insane journey from California to Miami to locate their parents and foil the proposal before it is too late.
A psychologically unstable United States air marshal (Tony Hale) begins to lose every shred of dignity, sanity, and self-respect as he chases those wicked chipmunks throughout the country, ruining his spotless flying record.
There will be another Alvin and the Chipmunk movie which is planned to be in theaters on 22nd December 2021. Alvin and the Chipmunk: The Movie will be the 9th movie to enter the Alvin and The Chipmunks franchise, and is speculated to be as entertaining and interesting as its predecessors.
Comedian and actor David Cross is probably best known to comedy audience for his roles in Arrested Development and Mr. Show or perhaps even the three seasons of The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret, a show he created and starred in. Alas, however, to younger audiences, Cross is probably best known for playing Ian in three Alvin and the Chipmunks movies, which earned over $1.1 billion worldwide.
Alvin and the Chipmunks are an evil trio of singing rodents & a parody of the anthropomorphic characters of the same name. They are supporting antagonists in the infamous 2008 parody movie Disaster Movie.
"Alvin" and the "Chipmunks" first appeared inside the shelter Will, Calvin, Juney & Giselle are staying. They are first shown singing We Wish You A Merry Christmas, wherein Giselle applause is adobed by them while Juney distrust them. The "Chipmunks" later sang Chipmunk Boogie (a loose parody of Funkytown by Lipps Inc), in which Will, Calvin, Giselle joins them by dancing. Will & Calvin find them cute & harmless but after they said that, the "Chipmunks" show their true nature by singing a dark rock song "Chipmunk Metal", surprising the main characters. Juney says that they are not Alvin & the Chipmunks & Will says "Alvin" has rabies, which the latter shows. The main characters back out as "Alvin" ask them where do they think they are going & then attacks Will (who shouts Dave's line "ALVIN!!!!!!!") on his crotch leaving Calvin, Juney & Giselle to run away from him, as "Theodore" attacks Calvin.
Juney then tries to help him by hit "Theodore" with a baseball bat but instead hits Calvin. Will fights "Alvin" who wants to eat his scrotum, which he considered as "nuts". While they are fighting the "Chipmunks", Giselle complains that no one is fighting her. Later, "Simon" attacks Juney on the back but Juney fights back & throws him and then runs away. "Alvin", who was busy fight Will, saw her & then attacks her, alongside with his brothers "Simon" & "Theodore", who was just thrown by Calvin. The "Chipmunks" got her & start devouring her while Will, Calvin & Giselle helplessly watch her get eaten. Her last words were, "Vlog you later." After they finish eating her, "Alvin" states that she was just an appetizer & they decided to eat the main course, Will. The Chipmunks tried to attack them but Will traps them inside a trash can & then shuts the lid to suffocate the "Chipmunks", thus killing them. One of the "Chipmunks'" (persumably "Alvin's") last word was, "Shithead!" 041b061a72
